Built on a 7-hectare area, Vox Maris Grand Resort is located in the heart of the Costineşti resort, just a few meters from the sea. The resort offers 350 accommodation spots, two restaurants, bars and pools, a nightclub, bowling alleys, a fitness center, and conference rooms.

Business Challenges
 

For the management of these facilities, Vox Maris Grand Resort used software installed on a local server, which over time became technologically outdated. It no longer provided support for efficient management or integration with online booking platforms. Additionally, the software couldn't be accessed from outside the location or on mobile.
 

In this context, the Vox Maris management decided to search for a modern and high-performing solution.

 

Solution
 

Vox Maris Grand Resort chose the Pynbooking platform to transition to more efficient management. Vox Maris uses the PMS Cloud Hotel  for automating reservation flows and managing various offers and rates. The Pynbooking PMS is 100% cloud-based and doesn't require installation on a local server or its maintenance.

 

The project includes a Channel Manager for integrating multiple online booking platforms and a Booking Engine for online reservations and payments through their site, voxmaris.ro. Moreover, Vox Maris opted for the Restaurant POS, allowing for automation of order-taking in the restaurant through tablets and automatic forwarding to the kitchen/bar.

 

The entire platform is accessible from any device, regardless of the user's location, and doesn't require IT skills for management.

 

 

Results
 

Using the Pynbooking platform directly contributed to modernizing Vox Maris's services and the experience provided to guests. Guests make online reservations through multiple platforms and the website, securing them with a bank card. Hotel processes are automated, and prices and availability are automatically updated.

 

The reception is less crowded because guests opt for online booking instead of phone calls or email. Additionally, signing the accommodation form on a mobile phone (through GuestApp) reduces waiting time at the reception.

 

Vox Maris management has access, directly on mobile, to multiple reports on the activity in any of the facilities and can make informed decisions.

 

New employees adapt quickly to this mode of operation because the interface of the Pynbooking platform is simple and intuitive, and the costs for training have been eliminated.
